Made by one person.

I dictate most of what I write, in two languages, often in the same sentence. The apps I tried either rented me the feature by the month, sent every word through their own servers, or hid what a minute of speech actually cost. So I built the one I wanted.

Nota runs on your Mac, or on the provider you choose with your own key. You pay for it once. There's no Nota server in the middle, no account, and nothing to cancel.
